He was engaged to Karishma Kapoor in October, 2002 but just within 3 months, the engagement was turned down. He was then engaged to Aishwarya Rai, one of India’s most wanted bollywood celebrity, on 14 January, 2007. After 3 months, marriage of Abhishek Bachchan with Aishwarya Rai was held on 20 April, 2007. The marriage took place at bachchan residence, Prateeksha, in Juhu, Mumbai and was massively covered by media.

On 16 November 2011, Junior B became father of a daughter who was known as Beti B until official name of the daughter was announced. The daughter of Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is Aaradhya Bachchan.

Introduction

Aamir khan is one of the leading actors of Bollywood. He was born on 14th March 1965. Aamir’ family was involved in film industry for a long time. His father Tahir Hussain and Uncle Nassir Hussain produced films for over a decade. In his colorful film career Aamir did more than 40 films.

Aamir khan Movies and Acting Career

Aamir’s film career started at the age of eight. He acted in Nasir Hussain’s Yaadon Ki Baaraat and Madhosh. Eleven years later, in the year of 1984, Aamir performed in Ketan Mehta’s Holi. The movie did not well in the box office and Aamir’s performance was not noticed.

He gained fame four years later from Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. The movie was yet another home production and was directed by his cousin Mansoor Khan. The movie was huge success and helped in launching Aamir’s career in Bollywood industry. Soon, he became teen idol, thanks to his youthful good looks.

He acted in this movie along with his real-life brother Faizal Khan. The movie happened to be the biggest failure of the year.

In 2001 Aamir’s Lagaan was released. It was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. Lagaan placed Aamir back on the track once again. The film was an outstanding success both commercially and critically. The film had won the Best Foreign Language Film at the 74th Academy Awards. In addition to this the movie had received an abundance of Indian awards along with National Film award. Aamir received his second Filmfare best actor award from this film.

Before the frenzy of Lagaan fade away, Aamir next movie hit the theatre. This is time it was Dil Chahta Hai, the directorial debut of Farhan Akhtar. The film was based on the lives of Indian Urban youths. The film was a success in the urban areas.

After Dil Chahta Hai, Aamir took a four year break from acting. He returned with Ketan Mehta’s Mangal Pandey: The Rising in the year 2005. Next year, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Rang De Basanti was released and Aamir’s role in the film was appreciated by the critics. He also won Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for this film. It also received nomination for Best Foreign Film at the BAFTA Awards.

Aamir’s other big hits are Fanaa, Taare Zameen Par, Ghajini, 3 Idiots and Dhobi Ghat. Each one of these films had earned critical acclaims and commercial success.
